A Course in Miracles Certification and Ministerial Programs From one of our students~ In the busyness of my daily life, it is wonderful to be part of a positive, virtual community of like-minded companions that are committed to a path that leads to absolute awakening. Rev. Deb and Rev. Paul skillfully lead their groups with inner guidance and keep their egos out of the sessions. They demonstrate a devotion to living the A Course in Miracles teachings, and focus on practicing kindness, mindfulness and humor rather than intellectualizing or analyzing the Course. They are grounded in its practical application and encourage everyone to tune into their guidance within, without taking on a “I am the Teacher” attitude that you can experience with some Course programs. They have established a framework that is gentle in its approach, and allows for all students to actively participate as desired and guided. And they are open minded and helpful with their insights on the Course teachings without imposing any narrow translations or interpretations of them. Lenore Schaefer Wilmington, DE Our current ACIM Certification and Ministerial Program Classes are underway and the next Year One Class begins in the Fall of 2010. Deadline for Application is July 31, 2010. The following Year One Class will commence in the Spring of 2011. It is advisable that you complete your prerequisite class as early as possible. Prerequisite classes are either 1 - One-on-One Mentored Study with MiraclesOne Staff or 1-Tele-Conference Group Study. You have the choice. Some students have taken more than one prerequisite class to prepare them for the daily work that is required in the Ministerial Program. The ACIM Certification Program is two years. This entails the complete study of the Text, the Workbook for Students, and the Manual for Teachers of A Course in Miracles and additionally, "The Song of Prayer" and the "Psychotherapy: Purpose, Process, and Practice" Supplements. The third year is dedicated for those who wish to be ordained as Ministers of MiraclesOne Foundation Church. This involves full ministry training, background and knowledge and a Ministry Focus Project. I NEVER, EVER would have completed this workbook were it not for our group. I have had such a challenge with starting all over…and so many times, in the last three months, I have been discouraged because many of Jesus’ statements have made NO sense, I have had no clue, but our program has “forced” me to press on, thus, its power.
